Public Health Officials present regular reports regarding the healthcare system's failure to serve the people in terms of quality health care. As the consumers influence the health care system in important ways, they always look for credible information about their health care, particularly in the field of mental health care. The foster youths in San Francisco quite often pass through critical stages in their life and need support until they pass the age of adolescence. An article from the San Francisco Chronicle published in August 2007 observes that support for the foster youths needs to be expanded till the age of 21. The demographic trend in the American life shows a longer term support for the young adults. These kids under foster care are there for no fault of their own. They have a natural right to obtain an expanded support system beyond the age of 18 years, especially when it is not easy making one’s vocation at a time of economic downfall in San Francisco. It is of utmost importance that the plaguing health care problems be immediately resolved, whilst the popular misunderstanding is done away with. Public confusion relating to affordable government health care, increasing cost in health care, expensive healthcare due to high prices of drugs, and universal coverage through insurance, fills our neighborhoods and should be targeted and in ways allowing local communities to have input; ergo to achieve the goal of providing proper healthcare support to the residents of the Bay Area.
